I don’t know how it comes, but they love me. Despite showers, deodorants and fresh cloths. They ignore Katja and choose me as their beloved. Why?
Do you know my answer dear reader? And if not, which one of these anti-fly precautions would you prefer?
Simply a T-Shirt over the head?
A way too cool Bedouin?

Um well, the 1st tourist-style hat looks quite silly… but somehow protective, doesn’t it?
Reminds me of taking defensive measures against midges in Scotland. I used hooded sweaters and such; but in Australia this may not be the best method due to temperatures. Some friends of mine used toilet paper, wrapping it around every uncovered part of their bodies. I think it really was a good idea… well… it didn’t help much, but helped to cheer one up because it looked so funny…

Sounds good with the toilet paper. And can become very handy if you are in the bush! An other possibility I found out (looking the Aplocalypto movie yesterday) is to jump into thick mud! If I find a swamp i`ll make a pic
